About Me
Think back to just how difficult it was to write the 'about me' section of your MySpace profile. If you're over thirty you probably won't understand that reference, but it wasn't easy. That's what I'm facing now; a big white textbox that I need to fill with words. Relevant words. Words that don't make me sound pretentious, self-indulgent or boring. Hello, I'm Adam Pacitti.
Until it closed, I worked in Woolworths and it was awful. I would go to bed and dream of pic 'n' mix, Chad Valley and my next depressing day dealing with customer returns. I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life, but having studied software development and worked as a door-to-door salesman, I knew I didn't want to do either. Naturally, I quit my job at Woolworths and took a job in an amusement arcade. It wasn't what I wanted to do either. Proper work was hard and I wanted to be an 'artist' because it seemed an awful lot easier. I wanted to work in the shallow, vacuous industry that is 'the media.'
Since then I've produced, directed and presented a few bits which have gained me literally tens of fans. I've done my best to try make most of the stuff I've produced available to watch online for free.
